I had a terrible experience there. Coxackie virus from dirty classroom, overcrowded that bites and scratches happened, teachers give minimal attention to my precious toddler. I regret. Everyday trusting these teachers and director until my son basically stopped talking and became withdrawn. This is a very terrible school. They were dishonest and I found out later that they had trouble with my son. Teachers never talk or wrote to me about it. On top of it all, he was one year behind after I took him out. Look at the signs..see what they are doing to get more money in their pockets. Please take what I say to heart because something happened to my son there. \r \r more

Terrible school! They lie and lie. The 4/10/2013

Terrible school! They lie and lie. The teachers are not Montessori certified or texas certified. If ur paying 10k a year they better be certified. They hire whoever. They say they have mandarin and Spanish classes but they don't. The teachers left. The poor teachers are overworked they have em more as cleaning ladies than teachers. The kids learn nothing. Most teachers there are coasting thru the job. Money hungry school! more

This is a wonderful school!!! First of all, I will start off by saying that my daughter was enrolled in another Montessori School in the Sugar Land area from 18 months until she was 2.5 years old. I was never overly impressed by the work that being done with her but at first I didn't have many complaints. Most days I would pick her up and she would have a piece of construction paper that was colored but no work at all. The work on the shelves was dated and I never saw any new materials coming in. The reason I pulled her out when I did was because one morning I took her to school and found mice running around the classroom. I was completely mortified when this happened and when I went to complain to the director I was told that this was no big deal. Since then I have placed her at Silverline Montessori and have been delighted at what I have seen. I drive all the way from Sugar Land everyday just so she can attend a quality school. When she began the teachers assumed that she had never been to school because she wouldn't sit down and she had no idea how to hold or use a pencil. As of today she can write her name along with countless other letters. She has matured so much in the last few months and she amazes me with the things that she knows at her age. Another thing that has blown me away is that every time I drop her off with any mark on her at all, I receive a phone call right away to ask me what it is and where it came from. This is very comforting to me as a parent that the teachers are watching my baby this closely. Every time that I drop off and pick up my daughter, the director is always there asking how we are doing and greeting the parents. Ms. Conn is always very helpful with any concerns or questions that I have and my daughter adores her. Another important issue for me is that I have seen a cleaning person on duty numerous times a week and the school always looks and smells very clean. I could not be happier with the staff, director and the school!!! \r \r more

Silverline Montessori school has been a blessing to our family. The teachers and staff are very friendly. The director made us feel welcomed. The teachers were patient and comforting when it came to transitioning our child to a new school. I have stayed and watched from the t.v. where they have cameras in all the rooms to watch my son as he adapted to the new environment. He has learned so much while here at Silverline. They have great little perks for this school like a credit for 1 week after you have been at the school for a few months and the parties that they have to celebrate certain holidays. All in all, its a friendly environment that is full of learning and fun for all ages. I am willing to keep my child here until he is too old...who knows when that will be since they are opening another school to accommodate older children for Elementary. How exciting!!! more

Their name should be Silverline daycare not Montessori. 5/23/2012

This school starts off with so much promise. First off, none of the teachers are Montessori certified. The director (Ms.Conn) is nice up front, but she always has an answer for everything (I have caught her in many lies). I have heard her lie to parents of potential students about certain teachers and their Montessori certifications. Ask to see the teacher's credentials (they will not be able to produce them). The school does have some really good teachers that do care about your children (toddler through Kindergarten). Most of these teachers have stressed that the school does not support them with educational material (tuition plus all the associated fees should easily pay for some printed materials). A few of the teachers have left to teach at the Goddard School and Primrose. If you are considering this school for after-school care only (elementary children), don't do it. The children are watched over by very young adults that spend a significant amount of time texting and chatting with their co-worker friends. On several occasions (6 times within a three week period), I noticed small fights develop and the care givers were completely oblivious because they were texting on their phones. It seems that the only good teacher was moved to a different classroom. more

Selling what they think you want to hear 2/21/2012

Told my wife and I how gifted and special our daughter was. They were teaching her how to test out of first grade, and making us believe she was exceptional. Now she is struggling in 2nd grade, tested at an average IQ, and come to find out they are telling all the parents the same thing. Great place if you want your kid to memorize the test questions to a test that will allow them to skip a grade and you want to believe your child is brilliant. Unfortunately they don't consider the damage that is being done to families who are buying into this and now have children struggling in school. more
