Silverado Senior Living

Scottsdale is so lucky to have this facility. I joined Citysearch just so that I could review this care home, as I realize from experience just how difficult evaluating dementia care facilities can be. I went through the entire journey with my father - from taking him out of his home to a small residential facility, then to a dementia care facility where all of the residents where sitting around waiting to die, and finally to Silverado. He was at Silverado for 6 months and I wish he had been there from the day he left his home. He was so happy and engaged at Silverado. They had so many fun activities and musical events. The carers were generally very good (people with dementia can be VERY challenging to care for). And when it was his time to pass, the number of people from Silverado that dropped by with tears in their eyes to kiss him goodbye was astonishing. Thank you Silverado more

I am really glad we found Silverado Senior Living in our area when we were looking for assisted living facilities. Our family has been really put at ease by the experience. After some normal initial adjustment time, Dad is doing so well and really thrives with the attention and care he gets at Silverado Senior Living. We did all we could for some time, but then regular life got in the way of the special demands his condition put on us all. My mom has been living at Silverado for the past 6 months and we couldn't be any happier. This is by far the best for memory care that you will find in Arizona. We have been in other Assited Living facilities before with a dementia unit but this is an entire community focusing soley on dementia care.
