I received ""proposals"" from several companies. I was most impressed with Silverstate's ability to answer my questions, provide me with what I feel was a very satisfactory ""package,"" in terms of quality and price, and, just as important--the workers. From Len, who is so knowledgable and available, to those who provided the installation expertise, namely Jeff, Ron and Robert, I am so grateful. These guys were all so very professional in every respect. They knew what they were doing and did it; they were so careful that one would only feel that they believe in the concept that cleanliness is next to Godliness, and they answered my questions. more

I called Silverstate to fix Apt ac & tech told us it was condensor. 2 days later our apt was hot again so called them back. They sent another tech (he was on his cell the whole time he was here) & he told us our ac was completely fine. That night our apt was 82 degrees (no ac) and tonight our apt is 90 degrees. No problem with ac? Where the hell did their techs get their training? I called on another company to fix my ac. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY more

I thought Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC was really good. The dude was hand's on and got me up on the roof with him to go over exactly what I needed. Once we were up there, we noticed additional things that needed immediate replacing. Silverstate was able to set me up an appointment the very next day. The installers arrived on time and got right to work. They did a complete replacement and installation in 3 hours from start to finish. So far, my new May Tag system is great! The only thing is that I didn't pay for the entire thing upfront, I paid $2000 in cash to start off and plan to carry and pay off the balance. However, they issued me a credit card, which I received 3-4 days ago. They want me to use that to pay it off. But I didn't sign up for that, I do not want or need that. I plan on calling them about this. more

Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC completed the job quickly and efficiently as far as I can tell. I didn't interact directly with them, but everything seems to be working fine so far and I haven't had any complaints. I'd use them again. more

I was really impressed with Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC. They were very good. I had used them once before a couple years back to service my system. But this time, they installed brand new units for me. I was very concerned in the beginning, as anyone might be when facing the thought of spending that amount of money, but they ended up doing a fabulous job. Their pricing, though a lot, was very competitive when compared to other companies. But 2 or 3 days before they were scheduled to do my installation, I saw their truck down the street at a neighbor's house, so I figured everything would be okay. Overall, I was really happy with the entire process. They were prompt and hard-working. After they were all done, and the unit was installed, I had a question. I called them and they came out immediately to handle the problem. It turned out to be a programming issue and they were able to fix it quickly. Any fear I had going into this project was defused. I will continue to call on them in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Chris Marsack more

Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC was the first company I found in the phone book. I decided to go ahead and use them, because I needed help. My AC had stopped working, and because my wife is ill and needs the house kept at 75 degrees at all times, it was a medical emergency. Some people have told me that I paid too much and that I trust too easily, but I truly feel like I found a good company. It was a bit pricey, but it was worth it to me because they solved the issue. They came in, and were hard-working and professional. They got the job done in 5 hours and I was happy to have them do it. I will definitely call on them again. more

Silverstate Refrigeration & HVAC has been excellent. They are extremely easy to work with, and very responsive. For example, I recently had an appointment with them for Wednesday, but needed to change it to Monday. I called them on Sunday and they showed up at my house the next day, on time and ready to work. They changed out the old unit and installed a new one. No problems, no questions. I'll definitely continue using them. Barry Spiegel more

To make a long story shorter, Silverstate Refrigeration recommended we replace our heater at a cost of approx. $3,000. Due to the high cost, we decided to get a second quote from another company. The other company said we didn't need to replace it and fixed our heater by replacing a sensor (at a cost of $250). more
