Do not use this elevator company. We have a Thysson/Krupp Lev 2 home elevator. The elevator entered an E8 error state and became stuck after the inner door was opened prematurely. After 3 hours of diagnosis, Silver State said that the controller was defective and that both it and the wiring harness needed to be replaced at a cost of over $12,000 because Thysson Krupp no longer provided spare parts.\r

We called another elevator company and they solved the problem in 10 minutes by simply resetting the controller. They also said that even though Thysson Krupp was no longer actively supporting their home elevators, spare parts are, contrary to Silver State's statement, readily available.
