Great location but beds need to be replaced in some villas, no sleep due to springs coming through and bed held up by pieces of wood as the frame had broken previously. Air condit...

Wonderful place to stay 11/26/2011

What a great place to stay. Friendly atmosphere, quiet and close to everything. My home is cottage style so this place was like right up my alley. Great prices too. Thanks for such a nice stay in Ft Myers. We will be back. more

This is a collection of small well maintained bungalows surrounding a lovely courtyard and pool area, filled with tropical plants and spots to relax. The location is excellent, close the beach and lots of restaurants and shopping.Our bungalow had a front and back porch and overlooked a canal and dock..We live in Fort Myers, about twenty minutes away and I can't wait to stay there again. more

Fabulous accomadations 11/16/2011

We had such a great time here! Warm, welcoming, clean ,really cute little bungalows. And pet-friendly! The staff is very helpful and informative. They made us feel like friends instead of tourists! you can walk to beach, food, drinks, etc. Loved the tropical vibe, not overdone. Last but not least, get up early for the great bird show at the canal that Silver Sands sits on! more

needs updating 11/7/2011

Great location but beds need to be replaced in some villas, no sleep due to springs coming through and bed held up by pieces of wood as the frame had broken previously. Air conditioners also need updating. Old window a/c that do not get cold enough and are very loud. You have to switch it off if you want to sleep and then its too hot. On a good note its a very convenient location if you don't have a car. All in all this could be a very nice place if it got some much needed TLC. more

Fun At Silver Sands 8/29/2011

We truly enjoyed our stay. So much to do in walking distance, you hardly ever need your car. The rooms were very clean, and the staff feels like family.I have already booked another reservation. more

Consistently Charming 7/31/2011

Silver Sands Villas is great for us. Close to the pier and beach in Ft. Myers. The staff is extremely helpful, and the cottages are clean and charming. And they really have a pleasant garden, which feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. It is a small motel so you have to book early or you may not get a room! more

I highly recommend Silver Sands-rooms are clean, the location is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the landscaping is gorgeous. A great time was had by all-thanks Andrea! more
