Silver Salmon Grille

I discovered this Restaurant by chance several years ago. We own a vacation home in Seaside. It has become one of our family's favorite restaurant on the coast. The food is great, atmosphere is great, service is top notch. We have never experienced a bad meal there. The Silver Salmon Supreme is my personal favorite. My wife and I eat out six nights a week in Portland and Seaside. ( our children are grown) I would highly recommend this restaurant. I think it is actually better than Jakes Crawfish in Portland, which we also like. It is a locally owned restaurant in Astoria. Thanks Jeff and your Lovely Wife more

The sauce for the linguine was horrible and overpowered every other aspect of the seafood linguine (in retrospect, I should have most likely picked a different dish based on the name). My girlfriend had the smoked salmon salad She took a bite and couldn't take another. The service was decent (no complaints at all) and like the other commentators said parking in front of the restaurant is scarce. Those two dishes were horrible. Worst 70 dollars ever! While not to many items on the menu, they really concentrate on flavor. My wife and I had their ""Silver Salmon"" plate, which is a fresh salmon stuffed with shrimp, dungeness crab, and smoked gouda. Golden crispy calamari, fresh bread, and flavorful drinks. But the best part, which hooks you in, is they carry a desert tray of all the different confections to your table at the end of your meal, so you can see exactly what they look like. I prefer the chocolate marble cheesecake, but yet they do have a few to choose from. If your in the Astoria area, and your looking for some good seafood, then I suggest the Silver Salmon. If you go here, make sure to have the cheese bread and cajun beer battered shrimp, they are absolutely fabulous! My date and I shared a couple entrees. The halibut fish and chips was so-so, but the house special silver salmon supreme well worth it. Ambience and service was great too. Pros: good food, fast service more
