Silver Palace Chinese Restaurant

Superb restaurant-- from menu, taste, price, service-- no other can beat the standard of this small but excellent restaurant!!! My family and I have discovered this place on the day it opened in mid-December of 1986 and we have been going since! In fact, this is where we celebrate family milestones and important events,e.g., our kids' birthdays, preschool-, elementary, HS- and college graduations, baptisms, reunions, etc. Bob and staff have become part of our families and we have become part of theirs. When my out-of-state siblings come over to visit, they never go back home to their own families without first buying food from them to take home to Florida, notably, tangerine beef, braised string beans,beef with broccoli, salt& pepper pork chops, pan fried house special chow mein, even chicken corn soup, hot and spicy soup, and wor wonton soup! Have been convincing Bob & Louie to open another branch but, I guess, it is us who will keep on going back despite our having moved homes four more

good food for the price , service great friendly no wait at any time will go back over and over had the sweet and sour chicken realy loved it ....will recommend them more

The staff is very friendly and make every effort to remember you on your return. The dry style beef chow fun and the pork chops with spicy salt is incredibly delicious! more

Yes, I'm Asian and yes, I have lived in China for awhile. I get the fact that American Chinese is not exactly what you would eat in China. I would say though that of all the Chinese restaurants I have been to (and I'm tired of Panda Express), Silver Palace is very good! Our family has been going to the restaurant for about ten years now and every time we go we order the braised green beans along with another dish. The food and service are excellent! We try to eat there at least once a week. But we wish we can eat there all week.. We love the food and the people are very nice. I wish they would deliver in our area. more

This place is great! They have really good service and I like all there dishes. If you ask they will even put a special dish together for you. I really liked their steamed fish fillets and their chow mein! more

My dad loves this place! We have been going since we were kids. My dad doesn't even need to order; they know exactly what he wants. Their prices are average, but they do have great lunch specials and their family dinners give you a lot for your money. more

Silver Palace in Whittier has been the location of many dinners, and family celebrations. The food is always fresh and wonderful, the service is always great. As a local family owned restaurant the dine-in and delivery of the highest quality. The food and the people kept us comiing back that we are now on first name basis!
