My son was enrolled at SiIverline Montessori School last year. thought my son's teachers were nice initally and I have gained trust in them. However, they failed to report the difficulties my son was having and did not notice that he was bitten while he was sleeping. It was overall terrible program for toddlers. He suffered including us, his parents. We have to deal with a year delay in speech, language and social skills. He was a bright 1.5 year old boy when we first enrolled him and he came out delayed, confused and depressed. We were always informed that he is doing well until they had difficulties with his behaviors. These behavior is his way of crying out for help, and they never told me anything until I see them in my own eyes at home. We have to pay a lot of money now for therapy to undo these behaviors and with a lot of love at home. I am staying home to give him the nurture that this school lacks. I am so amazed at how the director and the teachers were dishonest and obviously did not care for my son's struggles. They were unresponsive to him and just allowed him to struggle in all ways. This school is also unclean. Once, there was a Coxackie virus epidemic that many toddlers suffered with. It is such a painful sores that developed around the child's mouth area due to insanitary condition in the school. My son was out for a week and it was terrible to see him go through this. I had heard great things about this school from few parents, but now I come to realize that only certain kids can survive there. For one, they are overcrowded so your little one will be neglected in some ways. For two, their materials are outdated. They use worksheets for toddlers and the staff seems overworked and burned out. I withdrew my son of course but I wish I had done this sooner seeing all the clues throughout the year. I am writing this as a concerned parent for all the little ones attending to this school and to advocate for my son, for what had happened to him. I am torn for what we had to go through and with the terrible investment I have made with this school. This is not a good school.\r \r more

Silverline Montessori school has been a blessing to our family. The teachers and staff are very friendly. The director made us feel welcomed. The teachers were patient and comforting when it came to transitioning our child to a new school. I have stayed and watched from the t.v. where they have cameras in all the rooms to watch my son as he adapted to the new environment. He has learned so much while here at Silverline. They have great little perks for this school like a credit for 1 week after you have been at the school for a few months and the parties that they have to celebrate certain holidays. All in all, its a friendly environment that is full of learning and fun for all ages. I am willing to keep my child here until he is too old...who knows when that will be since they are opening another school to accommodate older children for Elementary. How exciting!!! more

Overcrowded, dirty & haven for bullies 5/14/2012

My daughter went to Silverline for six months and we withdrew her. This school is horribly overcrowded compared to other Pearland day cares. How can you effectively watch students in this manner? My daughter constantly complained of seeing bugs in the classroom, bathroom, yuck!\r \r To top it off, one of the little boys in her class would not leave her alone- constantly picking on her- a girl! I spoke to other parents and her class and they had the same problems but could not afford to withdraw their children.\r \r Stay away from this school! more

Thanks Silverline Montessori (Silverlake campus) 4/11/2012

One of the most effective tools that an educational setting can offer young students and very involved and concerned parents is an open door policy. In spite of the countless number of responsibilities that our director, Ms. Sara, is faced with on a daily basis, she does all that she can to keep everybody happy. It is amazing how she is able to keep a beautiful smile on her face, greet us all with the warmest of greetings, and make every student feel as special as God has uniquely created each of them. Our family is grateful for the positive impact that Silverline Montessori (Silverlake campus) and Ms. Sara make on our community. The Silverline Montessori (Silverlake campus) experience speaks soundly for itself because numerous families return to the Silverline Montessori (Silverlake campus) to enroll multiple children semester after semester including the awesome summer programs. If you are seeking a safe environment, fun experiences, and enriching developmental opportunities for your most precious responsibility, your children….then schedule an appointment with Ms. Sara 281-997-3700!!! more

Great School! 4/11/2012

My first two children attended Silverline (Silverlake location) from the time they were babies through 2nd grade....now my younger two are attending. Silverline has been great to my family. Ms.Sara is very loving, as are the teachers...many of whom have been teaching there for years. The school has a strong academic foundation, but also a very loving environment. I recommend Silverline to my friends and family ...and to you as well. more

Condones Bullying 3/13/2012

My child has been going to Silverline (CR 89) location for the last four years. The teachers never seemed nice enough, curriculum seemed well thought out and implemented. Unfortunately, my child has become a target for a bully and after repeated pleas to the school for their assistance, we have no recourse but to enroll in another school due to their inaction. \r \r The school is aware of the juvenile delinquent but refuses to take the ""appropriate"" action by releasing the bully from their care. Seems they are more interested in their bottom line than protecting their students and creating an environment conducive to learning. more
