8 dresses were ordered along with the bridal gown. The two attendants dresses were the wrong size, 5 of the bridesmaids dresses were the wrong size and all the bridesmaids dresses were the wrong color. All the dresses arrived 2 weeks later than promised. The staff measured the dresses for each girl and still got all the measurements wrong except for 1. When confronted with the problem, Silk refused to correct their mistakes. We requested either a refund or that Silk pay for the proper alterations. They refused. They gave us the impression that the wrong color and improper fit of the dresses was our fault. These are facts that can be proven by the 8 young ladies who are supposed to wear the dresses as well as the bride and other members of the family.
My name is D. Crawford, I am the brides grandmother and I personally witnessed the fitting of the dresses at the home of my granddaughter. I saw the swatches chosen and the color that was ordered. Silk will not issue an invoice, only a receipt for the purchase. It is my opinion that the facts originally placed on their computer as to the proper measurements, color or date of arrival will be altered in the favor of the company. Silk left the wedding a 2 week time limit to rectify their unprofessional negligence.
