This is the 3rd class that I have taken from Todd, and it is the exact same class / same slides / same information. There is nothing that changes from Tech/Air Monitoring / HazMat Safety / from the presentation, to the slides, to the stories, to the jokes, they are the same every time. Very little if any hands on RESPONSE FROM Signet North America: I am truly sorry you feel this way Brian about your experience with us. There are many similarities in the courses, no doubt, as air monitoring is a major component of the hazmat technician curriculum, and one must be a hazmat technician to be a hazmat safety officer per NFPA 472, so overlap in these areas, especially with these three particular courses, is unfortunately unavoidable. Taking all three of these and more specifically two of them back to back as your group did, you would of course experience some of this, as we explained during the early stages of each class to those of you taking both classes in a four day span. However, upon a more focused review I can assure you that even with the unavoidable similarities, there are by design many unique aspects to each of the three. I again apologize for your frustration however and do look forward to more opportunities to work with you and your teams! more

This was a great hands on course! Todd S. is an incredible instructor that I have had the good luck to attend two of his trainings. This course brought the importance of the role of Safety Officer and Hazmat dangers into clear focus. Todd gave great examples of how to succeed or fail any operations because of the safety officers ability to oversee and manage the scene, responders, command staff and most importantly the IC. Additionally, we all had the opportunity to "play" with substances safely because of Todd's thorough instruction of the substances that were on hand to examine. If something was unclear or vague about any part of the course, Todd would take the time to go back and make procedures, chemical properties, dangers clear without making a huge deal out of the problem. That was very important to me as I will be dealing with more than just chemical response. I would definitely recommend this course and more importantly Todd to any of my response partners. The instructor that taught the class was awesome he made it easy to understand what we needed to know and his hands on teachings were amazing. He was very informative in his lessons to the point where a person like me who has a learning disability to understand and comprehend them.
