I've been going to this office for about 8 years now and I've always been impressed with how efficient and caring Dr. Buen's staff is. They really make an effort to know their patients. I had to have root canal a few months ago and my prior dentist in the city never told me I had to have a crown over that tooth. When a piece broke off I called my dentist right away and they couldn?t get me in for a week. I called Signature Smiles Dental Care because it was right by my gym. They said they were pretty booked that day, but that Dr. Buen would squeeze me into her schedule to at least take a look at what was bothering me. Someone at the front desk emailed me paperwork, so when I arrived they sat me right away. The assistant and video explained to me why I needed a crown. The dentist smoothed out my broken tooth and put something temporary so I didn?t feel something jagged against my tongue. I came back the next day and they made a crown for me in the office. I got to see how it was made. While I was waiting for the lab tech to make my crown, the Dentist did a full exam and the hygienist did my cleaning. I can?t believe how high tech and efficient this office was. I will definitely be referring this office and I am grateful to the staff for taking such good care of me. I was pleasantly surprised to have such an awesome dental appointment. The hardest part was having to see my teeth when they used this camera that went inside my mouth. I know now that I was really neglecting my dental work. I needed a deep cleaning and I thought it was going to hurt, but Dr. Buen and the hygienist were so comforting and assured me I would be ok. My teeth felt great afterwards. It didn?t hurt that I was in a massage chair the whole time and got to watch tv. The entire team was really efficient as far as my out of pocket expenses. I have to go back in a few weeks, but I am actually looking forward to going back! Hope this helps. Pros: Nice staff/Beautiful office Cons: None yet more

There are so many positives about Signature Smiles - friendly staff who knows me, a play area for the kids, TVs in the exam rooms, massage chairs during long procedures, high tech dental equipment, close proximity to public transit - that it's easy to overlook some of the small inconveniences, like having to pay for parking or waiting to be seen because an emergency came in. Yes, it's often difficult to get an appointment but that is because she's so popular everyone wants to get in. I've been bringing my entire family to Signature Smiles for our dental care for several years now and look forward to many years to come. I have been a patient of Big Smile Dental for 8 years. The staff is very professional, knowledgable and courteous. The office is equipped with all the latest technology such as massage chairs and a TV above your head to watch as your teeth are being worked on. Dr. Siegel is a profectionist in all areas of dentistry. I have had caps, fillings, and a bridge made, all done with the highest level of expertise. My kids love going to Signature Smiles Dental Care!. They walk in the door and go straight to the kids area. It's great because they get to watch tv while they get their teeth cleaned. The assistants were so patient with them. They even took pictures of them and gave us a copy when we left. Now my kids don't dread going to the dentist. I had chipped a front tooth a few weeks ago and I called several dental offices in the area. None of them even picked up the phone, let alone were able to schedule me. Signature Smiles seemed friendly enough and the doctor got me into her lunch hour. They did some sort of ""bonding"" to my tooth and when I went back to work, no one could even tell! I highly recommend this office. more

I have the biggest fear of dentists, but I saw the Dr. Rosemary Buen last week and she was so patient and gentle. She took the time to answer all of my questions. When I went to Dr. Buen I was assured that she was extremely gentle, explained everything thoroughly and that she listened to her patients. I explained that I had a horrible experience with the last dentist I had visited and she said that she would work hard to make me feel better about dentists. The first visit was great and cleaning was fine, but when I went back to get an inlay and an onlay done I realized I had made a mistake. Not only did she not listen to me when I said that I could feel pain, she waited until I had tears streaming down my face before she finally gave me more novacaine! Her reasoning: she didn't want to send me home with a numb mouth! After that she told me I was done and when I came back due to still having pain she again said that we were done with the 3 teeth she drilled and to set up an appointment form the next procedures that needed to be done. Needless to say, I never went back. That is until 9 months later when a filling she did came out so I had to call and speak with her office. Not only were they rude and condescending, but there was no note of the work she had done on one of my teeth. They treated me as though I was crazy and finally I had to work with the office manager to try and get in to see her. The office hours are the exact hours that I work so it took over a month for me to be able to see Dr. Buen only to find out that she had drilled my tooth and only placed in a temporary filling! This was not found until two more staff members told me that Dr. Buen had not done anything to that particular tooth. Dr. Buen finally came in and admitted she had, but didn't write it down in my chart because she didn't want the front desk staff to ""get confused"" and charge me extra. Umm...either get smarter front desk people or make a note saying ""did this but don't charge"". Pros: Location if in Oak Park Cons: Service, Dentist, hours, staff more

I went to Dr. Azalea. She often tried to coax me into dental work that I didn't think I needed. Instead of a normal filling for a cavity, I got a porcelain onlay and it came out after two years. It's supposed to last for 5 years. I'm not sure what the qualifications are for the dentists that still work there, but the money I've had to spend to fix the problems they've left in my mouth are worth you seeing another dentist. The customer service people do try very hard, but trying at the front desk isn't good enough when the dentists are quacks. Dr. Azalea has a private practive in Bolingbrook. Don't patronize that either. more

Contrary to the previous review,truly ENJOYED my experience at Signature Smiles. had tons of work done in my mouth ranging from tooth extractions to root canals at other dentists and all my prior experiences were...TRAUMATIC. the staff and doctor seemed quite friendly and sincerely concerned about my dental health. The office presentation resembles that of a day spa-no kidding. lobby wait time...typical. knowledgeable doctor.helpful staff.focus on patient education.best overall ""dental visit"" and that's both 1st and 2nd visits.(wouldn't review otherwise)earned my loyalty. I left several voicemails for this dentist's office over the span of several weeks just to make an appointment! I finally had to say in one voicemail message, ""Unless I hear back today, I will have to find a new dentist."" They finally called me back, but I had to wait over a month to schedule an appointment! The staff all seemed like they were just out of dental school and 4 different people assisted me for a general cleaning. At one point, I was sitting in the chair so long, I got up to make sure they didn't forget about me! I will not be back. So, I tried the bleaching at it works!!!! After a couple of applications my teeth are white as can be!!! Pros: Staff, Price, Hours Cons: Parking more
