Signature Leather

My hairdresser suggested that I go to Signature Leather as she had an excellent experience there. I started in the Paramus store and ended up ordering from the Fairfield store because Paramus is closed on Sunday (Blue Laws). From the time I entered the store through the delivery of my beautiful furniture, my experience was professional, very personal and reminiscent of the service we used to routinely get at Mom & Pop stores. \r \r The selection can be overwhelming but the knowledgeable staff makes selecting the perfect pieces easy and enjoyable. I do not have a lot of furniture buying experience and they educated me so I felt comfortable and confident with my selection. One of the owners even came to my house to measure at no additional charge!!!\r \r When my furniture arrived the delivery people were meticulous in the set up and removal of protective wrapping. I have recommended Signature Leather to others and have received thanks for finding this gem among the big box stores.\r more

This is for their Fairfield, NJ Store!!\r \r They are extremely nice when you go in to buy a couch, but then forget all about you after you order & pay for it. We were told the leather sectional we ordered would take 12 weeks. After 12 weeks passed, we went to the store to inquire, and they said that they were going to call that it would be delayed. They gave US an attitude when we were upset that they weren't communicating after paying for such an expensive couch. Now 17 weeks after, still waiting for our delivery. Signature Leather & their so called "delivery" company keep giving us the run-around. Claiming their "delivery" schedule receptionist is not at work, etc. We have to pursue them constantly, with no useful answers & attitude. I will not do business with them again, and I'll be sure to tell my friends (who are all buying new homes+furniture stages) not to go these people ever.? more

Great store. If you are looking for quality leather furniture this is the place. They recently opened another store in Fairfield NJ. This new location is bigger and much more pleasant to shop in. They also carry affordable leather furniture and have some really fantastic specials. You can actually by a 100%top grain leather sectional with recliners for under $3000. Similiar but inferior products at Raymore and Flannigans sell for over $4000. They carry a great selection of higher end products as well. The sales person I dealt with in Fairfield knew more about leather than anyone I have encountered. No high pressure sales tactics, really refreshing experiance. Go there before you buy anything. You won't be sorry. more

I have purchased 2 beautiful leather couches, a leather chair and several tables from Signature Leather. The quality of the merchandise and the service I received at the store is excellent. Mary and everyone else at the store is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this store to everyone. more

Purchased a comfort sleeper and it was a very pleasant experience. My salesperson was delightful and my sleeper was delivered on time. The sofabed is beautiful and my guest's loved it.I give this store 5 stars and will be back to get a stressless chair from them. more

I bought a natuzzi leather sofa for close to $5000. It came missing one pillow. The owner promised me he would have it ordered and shipped to me but it would take 12 weeks. That was almost 5 months ago. I have been calling constantly, and keep being told that he is tracking it down and will call back. Never returns call.\r Can't believe they would screw me on one pillow after a purchase of that amount.\r \r Would NEVER recommend Signature leather. UNETHICAL. more

They promised to deliver the sofa between 12 and no more than 16 weeks, but once the date was not met they said that they have no control over the order (?!?!?!?).They sold us a 1500 US$ rug to be delivered in 1 week, and it took 12 weeks.They are very nice once they are selling but afterwards they do not return calls and the managers/owners do not get involved with any thing and no one gives explanation or try to accommodate anyone needs.All products they sell can be found in several stores in NYC on in other Jersey stores, for the same price and with much better service. more

As a first time buyer of a leather sofa it took some time on the salesman's part to win me over. I was geared to think as leather as being easily stained, scarred, damaged by children and dogs. The salesman took his time and pointed out all the features convincing me that leather is made for wear and tear. The showroom had ample models.I also thought leather would be too modern for my tastes but they carry wonderful old world styles with hob nails and wood that was absolutely sumptous. They have various sales and 1 year no interest no payment if you are interested. I learned alot (there are various grades of leather), the salespeople were patient and the service was excellent. PROS: Great selection great salespeople CONS: None more
