This is a wonderful vet hospital. Dr. Jodi Moffet is the most compassionate and thorough vet I have ever known. She and her wonderful staff went the extra mile when we brought in our 13 year old 100 pound golden lab, Lady. Lady was unable to walk, and Lady stayed in the hospital for over week while undergoing various tests to find out what was wrong with her. I cannot stress enough how kind and patient the staff was to her and to us. They had to gently lift her up many times each day so she could go to the bathroom, and I know that was not easy. They gave her her own room, so that she would have less stress, they talked to her and soothed her during the testing, which sadly revealed that Lady had pancreatic cancer. We did not want to give up, so Dr. Moffet referred us to a specialist vet hospital in Tucson to determine whether there was anything else that could be done for our dear Lady. Your Message: Dr. I brought in a week ago Sunday my 2 Boxers, Speedy and Harley to be seen by your clinic. Speedy had an infetion on his leg and Harley had possible ring worm. I was given prescriptions and told to come for a recheck. I explained that I was the owner of 2 package delivery routes and this was a really busy time of the year and probably could not make an appt in 7 days as that was during the craziest time of the year. I called to today to see about getting a prescription for the meds called into Target to get the dogs through until after the holiday and was told that would not be possible until I had the recheck. I am very disappointed in this, the dogs are responding well to the medication and to deny them continued medication until I have the time to get into visit seems very neglectful and could lead to a relapse in their problems. I have been going to Sierra Animal Hospital with my pets for more than 15 years now. It started one Sunday with a dog who had gone through a window and cut his leg to the bone. I made call after call after call, and Dr. Bone was the only one who returned the call and said to bring him in. In retrospect I am glad nobody else responded, because I believe Dr. Bone is the best veterinarian available.\r \r They provide excellent care here, and will take the time to talk to you about anything that you are concerned about. I had my dog neutered here. The procedure was quick and the treatment was kind and gentle. They were very professional and the cost was reasonable. The office seemed busy with a good clientele base. more

We take our mini-schnauzer here. It is realitively easy to get an appointment with them, and Dr. Bone is one of the best vet's we've found. You don't feel like a number with them, and they send you reminders as to when your animal is going to need the next set of vaccines. I really like the office staff. Very friendly! more
