Sienna Park

I am currently living in the apartment complex as of January 6. The inside of the apartments themself do not like bad.The people in the office you who the two front decks are nice people but the manager lady who works in the other room. Dont even try talk to her. she hides in her office to stay away from people. The maintenance guys do there best but it takes them about 2 weeks to get to you. When i have placed work orders it take forever for them to come and fix it. You can tell them a time and what day to come in fix the problem but you will have to visit the office to get them to really come and fix the problem. I had placed a work order for something very simple it took them two months to fix it and the maintenance man told me that he will need to order a replacement piece. I am still waiting for it.\r The place is not over run with bugs. I had roaches for a little bit but once they sprayed I have not seen one. Also when you have a problem with the neighbors they want you to handle it. But when I went to a person and told them. the office turned around and told me that they are suppose to handle issues between people living here. Once you do tell the office about a issue it takes them multiple trips to the office to get the issue resolved. People park where they want and they dont care of it is assigned parking. they want to be able to park close to there apartment. also most of the people who live here dont know English very well and dont care to talk to you. which is fine with me.\r The only real problem i have with this apartment is the office and how they work. How it takes them forever to fix a problem. The one REAL BIG thing that really makes me say dont live here is that if they are going to be working on the water lines they do not give notice for when the water will be turned off. I woke up one morning and realize i had no running water. I call the office and they said they had to turn it off to fix a pipe. I was like ok but do you have someplace where i can get water for the toilet. They told me no i would have to go get water at the store. \r They do not get notices for anything. They are doing work on the building and they dont rope off the work area and pieces of wood are falling off the building and almost hit me as i walked by to get into my apartment. \r To sum it all up, if you dont mind be told what is going on then live here. But i would say skip this place. I thought it was a nice place but it is really not. more

this is the worst place to live my a/c just stopped working and nobody can come and fix it. I've been telling them like about 2 weeks and half and they just tell me there gonna come tomorrow but they never do it also has roaches every where and when i came in i didn't had any roaches it just so freak in NASTY and they don't do anything about it this place like hell is the worst everrrrrrrrr. hope if you read this you dont make a lease because you going to regret it. like i am right now.... more

i move in here like a few months and 3months later i had bedbugs and they really didn't do anythang beside just spray for what it didnt work when i ove in i had a problems and it not solve yet ant as soon as my lease is up move and not looking back these apt is really bad Pros: sad Cons: not worthy more

this place is terrible. the water is turned off at least once a week. you have to fight for hot water as you dont have your own water heater there is 2 boilers for the whole complex. there are stray cats everywhere and they dont do anything about them. our upstairs neibhors were very noisy finally after 6 months they had them transfer units. other neighbors only lived here for 2 months and when they left all there trash there. they also left a mattress outside there door which is only five feet from my front door, we have notified the manager multiple times and it still hasent been removed. now that i have saved the worst for last, when the neighbors moved no one has cleaned the apartments and we are now being over ran by cockroaches we have bombed the apartment twice in one week we spray constantly and have roach bait everywhere no matter what we do they still come in. when we finally realized that no matter what we do they always come back we contacted the office about our problem. i thought that they had a reputable bug company. NOPE they have maintence come in and spray more than likely just the store bought pesticide which we have been sraying constantly. our one year lease is up next month and we will not be here a day later. and i will never suggest that anyone move here. if you like to live in trash then this is the place for you. also when we take the trash out there are bums sitting there just waiting to go through your trash to collect cans. i really hope that people look at reviews before moving into a place, i should have. I lived in this dump for a year and a half. My refrigerator broke down 3 different times and the maintenance never fixed it or replaced it. I had to throw away at least $100.00 dollars worth of food. The tennants just sling there trash on the ground as they please. There are many people there that play there music very loudly,and I complained several times with nothing ever done. I am not a Racist by any means,but it seemed to me if you are white or black,nothing gets fixed!!! I believe there are illegals living there,after all,when school is in session,your kids should be in school!!! It's amazing how many children there are not in school!! If you are here illegaly,then you can't register your kid in school!! There are Mexican people that bother you at night trying to sell you stuff from Mangos to donuts and more,it all looks like it was taken out of a trash dumpster!! Oh yeah,there are thieves and dumpster divers there also. I lived outside of Compton,Ca. in the 80's and didn't have near the problems as I had at Sienna Park Apartments!!! The place is also over run with pidgeons and the Maintenance people don't clean any of it off your landing or sidewalks. I constantly had to sweep and even wash my area down!!! The hot water system there is a joke!! I always had trouble getting hot water in my kitchen and more times than not,i had to boil water to do my dishes!! They are frequently having Emergency water shutoffs,( 10 times in a year and a half )!! I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed a year lease!! I now live back in my home town,and don't mind the commute to Glendale where I work!!! IT'S WORTH THE PEACE AND QUIET!!\r IF YOUR A HOOD RAT,THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! ive had packages stolen off my porcth bird SH!T is everywhere, i seriously doub that anyone who lives here beside very young kids are legal, and no one speaks english. if your white and you move here your asking for your stuff to get stolen. i have people who cant speak english constanty at my doorstep trying to sell me retarded things like mangos and bannanas and stuff that looks like they stole, and if i open my door they dont look at me, they try to peek in my house to see what kinda TV i have. i have atcually heared people breaking into my nieghbors car one night.. i came out on to the porch with a flashlight and they scattered , but must have come back later because when i woke up and looked down from my balcony next morning there were cops and the owner standing around his ford excursion that had the windows all busted out and his radio and whatever else missing. god this place is a hell hole and id bet my bottom dollar that this place caters to illegals. do not sign a lease here i really really wish i never had. oh yeah and to illustrate he kind of people who live here, every day i see people come from their bottom floor basement apartments with stolen shopping carts that they fill will trash covered cans they dig out of the dumpsters. the people here are slime and i hate living with these criminals. oh yeah and there is a big ol POLICE BAIT CAR sign at every entrance if that tells you anything Pros: its pretty cheap and if you get on the 3rd flr nt so noisy Cons: the genearl poulation that lives here are scumbags more

Whatever you do, don't let the internet photo's fool you. This place is not a good place to live. The staff is very very very ! non professional and have a hard time keeping their records straight. Involving you in their bad record keeping with their errors. At night all the parking spaces are taken up (even your assigned space) with family members or friends of other residence. The grounds are un-kept with trash, leaves,left over food,bottles, you name it ! The place is consumed with pigeons with pigeon (poohie) literally at your door step! Maintenance does nothing about it. We had to clean it up on our own on a daily basis if we didn't want to walk in it. We were embarrassed to invite any of our friend over because of the basic upkeep on Sienna Park Apartments. The landlord is slow in response of your concerns, however quick to charge you a price for something they think you may have done. the complex is not safe for children as a lot of shady looking characters live, hang out or share apartments their. Many people live there but are not on the lease. The complex is located in a bad part of town with helicopter flying over nightly. Police sirens became just another background noise of the neighborhood. We never let our kids play outside but took them to a park elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and pass this place by. I only wish I had read the reviews of this place before we signed a lease. A Nasty little place to live ! This not a great place to live if your looking for a quiet complex. There's alot of people that speed thru the complex. They also use the glendale bait car in this complex. Also if you have friends come over they have no where to park. Hope you enjoy lound music. The walls are very thin & you can hear everyone's music. The matianace staff takes there time in fixing stuff. Over the 5yrs I lived here this is the wrost I have seen this complex. more

Use to be owned by a reputable company Aspen Management, not anymore, this place is a dive. You can watch the residents destroy it, as they just simply leave their beer bottles right on the ground. Or they eat their food and throw what they don't want out of their car windows as they are leaving the property. Management goes around sticking ""I'm going to tow you stickers"" on your car and you're parked in the correct spot. Staff members that can not properly describe the lease.
