I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siena Restaurant in Providence Rhode Island. When I walked in the door, I was promptly greeted by two smiling hostesses. I unfortunately did not have a reservation, but they offered me a seat at the bar while I waited a short 15 minutes for a table. Just enough time for a delicious cucumber martini. It was unique and refreshing yet sweet. I was then escorted into their tastefully decorated Tuscan dining room, where I received impeccable service. The caprese salad was light, fresh and delicious, and my filet special was to die for. If you ever get the pleasure of dining at Siena, please do not forget to order dessert! The fried dough dessert is topped with cinnamon sugar and topped with vanilla gelato and warm nutella- a crowd pleaser for sure. In short, Siena offers delicious food and excellent service.
