I had them install radiant heat in my basement and was very pleased with their workmanship and knowledge of the job. They took the time to explain every step needed for this type of installation. Once the work was completed the installer Paul made sure I understood how the system worked. He also made sure the place was clean before he left. (Thanks!) I was out of town when my elderly parent's furnace wouldn't start-up on an intermittent basis, and unfortunately I didn't know to call Siemer first. After throwing away several hundreds of dollars on a local competitor who racked-up bills replacing parts on the old furnace (it ended up being an intermittently stuck switch), I decided it was financially prudent to explore prices on a new furnace and AC. It's not easy for me to get out to my parent's house, so I sent out a request for quote to a number of local HVAC contractors and compared the bids apples to apples. Al graciously bid on it sight-unseen and had the quote back to me in 24 hours. Price was highly competitive but more importantly, when I followed up with Al and asked specific questions, he was up-front about everything and I didn't get the feeling he was trying to cut corners or try and skimp in places. So I awarded the job to Siemer and I am happy with the result. The installation of the new furnace is top-notch and the additional tasks that I asked Al to include were happily completed by the technicians when they arrived to do the work. Siemer operates an HONEST business with capable and friendly technicians and I highly recommend them... I wish I would have known about them sooner! more

We recently had NIPSCO run a gas line in to our farm. We had no existing gas line from the meter to the furnace. The Siemer crew (especially Dennis!) did an awesome job of reconfiguring our ductwork and professionally installing our new furnace and hot water heater. Siemer Heating & Cooling installed a complete furnace and A/C system for us on Aug. 18, 2011. The installers were well mannered, skilled and very efficient. They had all the parts and materials they need to do the job. The job took about 6.5 to 7 hours and when they finished their work they cleaned-up everything and made sure we had no remaining questions. more

We had used Siemer Heating & Cooling years ago, and so we were familiar with them, plus they are a local business, so we decided to use them again recently to install our furnace and air conditioner. They seem to give good information about what they are selling. They did a very good job and we are happy so far. They answered all of our questions, and even after the installation, they were very responsive to our call when a question came up. They actually came out to assist us. Everything is really good. Real good! I had a problem with my air conditioner, it was almost shot, and our furnace was also giving us some problems. I stopped by Siemer to see if they had a part for my old furnace. He was real nice, Mr. Siemer was, Al's dad, so I asked them to come out and talk my situation over with me, and that's what they did. The presentation was good, and all the rebates seemed great. They came out the next day, installed it, and everything is very good. I've been very happy with the furnace so far, and I'm sure I'll be happy with the air conditioner in the summer. more
