Great Place/Great Atmosphere 4/9/2006

This place is a great little bar in Ypsi, if you haven't been here yet, you need to get in this place for lunch one day or a quick stop after work for drinks with some friends or co-workers. This is a great place to hang out at, its in a nice little depot town. I vaguely remember lunch specials and fried pickles. more

Cool Place to eat or drink 3/29/2006

This is a cool bar. Food is decent, good atmosphere, and it breaks away from "chain dining" that we all get so sick and tired of! Staff is cool, they have outdoor seating in the summer and a full bar with good beer on tap. They were voted one of the top 20 burgers in the US by GQ magazine last year- so that tells you something!! Its' teh kind of place you go for a burger and beer, not necesarily a steak, although i do think they may serve steaks and fish on special. more

Sidetrack's is the best place to have a brew or a cocktail. THe inside ambiance is that of an old saloon. Sit next to the fireplace during the winter, and enjoy the atmosphere. I personally love the patios there. THere are 3 and I enjoy them all. I try to sit out there even if I have to wear a jacket. The best is when the train goes by. Best things on the menu are the fish sandwich and the baked salmon. They also have a great dessert menu because they use Zingermann's products. more

decent burger 8/14/2005

This place gets all the Eastern Michigan University business. Some people swear by the burgers but I'm sorry, I just don't get it. They are decent and big but they don't live up to all the hype. The fries are VERY greasy and limp so don't even bother. They do have excellent value on drinks for their "late night" happy hour. It runs from 10pm -2 am and drinks are 1/2 price! Go in and drink sme of the single malt scotches they have to offfer. it's a great deal! more
