lots of used saddles, but incompetent workers. these people don't know much of anything, and have a pretty lax approach to business. no knowledge of hunter/jumper equipment, besides what you learn from stateline tack magazine. there is only one person who works there you can assist with consignment. swing by to check out used stuff, but don't expect to have intelligent conversation. there aren't any great tack shops in all of portland. go to gallops if you want some experienced sales people at the least. stick with sidesaddle if you're doing it all on the cheap and not ambitiously competing. closed on sundays for church i'm sure. Great tack shop.....Lots of used saddles 11/5/2002

This place has almost anything that you might need for English riding. Breeches, jackets, saddles, bridles, and more. It may not be the cheapest place, but if you need something for a show or want to check out some used saddles, it is a great place to go. more
