Forget everybody else - if you want good Thai, you must go see Mama-san at Siam's. Also, you must have at least a hour to kill - your homage to good Thai will take time, as the service here drraaaggggsssss! But it's well worth it. The thai rolls, spring rolls deep-fried and covered in a sweet sauce aren't exactly culturally accurate, but they're to die for! Pad thai is, of course, a must, and nobody makes it better than Mama-san. If you want it spicy, tell your server - they won't ask. And when you tell them, be honest. A "very, very spicy" dish could be inedible if you're not ready for it (my tragic fate one evening).
