I'm a Siam fan 11/30/2006

I love Thai and before the Thaiger Room opened, Siam on Broadway was my favorite Thai restaurant. They still get my vote for the best spring rolls in town. Their peanut sauce is heavenly, rich and creamy yet not heavy. Mom mom swears she would eat her own shoe if it was covered in this sauce. They also have a wonderful dish that used their peanut sauce, tofu and fresh green beans. If you can check them out for lunch, you get a cheaper meal along with a great homemade soup. This place can get crowded at dinner time and on the weekends, but good Thai food is always worth the wait. There are less crowds at the Lake Union location, but the food there is not as good and a bit more expensive. more

Drunken Noodles at Siam on Broadway 10/26/2006

This is the best Thai dish I have had in Seattle. And, the other dishes we ordered offered fresh ingredients, cooked on the spot (no troughs of food here) and unique flavors. This place beats the pants of Jamjuree on 15th! Great place to go to for dinner before a movie at the Harvard Exit. Only drawback: parking! more

A solid thai food choice 2/28/2006

Siam on Broadway has been a favorite of mine for years. I think it's because they never overcook the veggies. I can't stand mushy peppers or limp green beens. I went last weekend with a few friends and the food was still great, but the place was a ghost town. It must be the death of Broadway that's done it because the food was still good and the service was excellent. I have to admit I kinda missed the hustle and bustle that the place used to have. It seems to have calmed down considerably. Oh well, the food is still great and I'll be back again. more

love it! 12/31/2005

This is the best Thai food in Seattle. I think the prices are appropriate, the portions are excellent and the food is outstanding. Even on a weekend p.m., I've never had to wait more than about ten minutes for a table. The wait staff is always very attentive and friendly, as well. This is my favorite place to take people who have never had Thai food ...non-Seattlelites, of course! :) This place is a winner every time! more

best thai food ever 10/22/2005

this is the BEST thai food restaurant in seattle. siam is located on broadway on capitol hill. the food is so delicious that when the bill comes you expect it to be twice the amount that it is, but siam's prices are great, so leave a BIG tip. they deserve it! the staff, especially the waiters are extremely polite, courteous, and helpful. p.s. if you're like me, and only like things a little spicy, dont order above a one, you wont be able to handle it! more

2nd Best Thai Place in Seattle 8/29/2005

This place I think ins only second best to the Thai Tom on the Ave. Although this place is a lot more convenient to get to and park. I would actually preferred to come here because of the great service and quick seating. The restaurant is pretty large with a lot of seats; they also cook the food pretty fast. If you are in the area, you have to try it out. more

Thai Food to Grow Phat On 8/29/2005

While a bit pricier than some other Thai places in the area, the portions and taste more than makeup for the cost. The Phat Thai is delicious and the extended assortment of meat dishes allow for trying new dishes every time you visit. The wait for take-out usually isn't too bad except for around dinner hours on the weekends, but call ahead and get a great meal worth paying for. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is dark and secluded, but in a way which makes for a classy, personal dining experience. more
