"Old Time" Feel 4/16/2006

I love taking my daughter to this store. There is a lot of open space, it has old wooden floors, there are not any loud, flashing plastic toys, and the toys they sell are all creative and educational in nature. The owner of the store is very kid-like, and loves to get on the level of my daughter and interact with her while we are there. During one visit, he spent a good five minutes playing with the light on one of the trains with her at the train table. He also doesn't mind when kids want to look at and play with some of the toys why they are there. more

Better than average food with a great view 3/10/2006

Timothy's is my choice for dining al fresco in Fells Point. While its fare is your typical upscale pub and seafood restaurant, they often offer some great specials and coupons through tourism books. You'll find the inside is empty, but you'll still wait 40 minutes to get a table outside near the water. Wait it out though, 'cause it's worth it. And do give the nachos a try-- they're fantastic! more

Timothy's 2/25/2006

Timothy's of Fells Point is a great seafood (and more) restaurant and pub located right on the water. If you take the water taxi over from the Inner Harbor, it'll practically dump you out right in front of the restaurant. During the summer, getting a table outside might take awhile, but it's worth it. Food ranges from seafood specialties to standard pub fare. I suggest checking the coupon book the water taxi folks give you, because I'm almost certain that there's a coupon for a free pint or half price appetizer included. more

Tiny but Good Toy Store 8/16/2005

Located in the heart of Fells Point, aMuse is a tiny store packed to the ceiling with lots and lots of cool toys for all ages. They have toys, puzzles, books and a ton of other fun trickets that you will not find at your local big box. Because it is small, it is also inviting and the salesperson will be happy to help you with any special requests and so forth. It is best to go in if you are not looking for something specific, but rather just want to discover what is there. It is a fun place for kilds and adults alike. more
