Shrivers Salt Water Taffy

Shriver's Salt Water taffy is an Ocean City Landmark. They have a huge store on the boardwalk that sells all sorts of candy. Their saltwater and their fudge are excellent and made on premises. You can go to the back of the store and watch through the windows as they make their salt water taffy. This is a good store to waste time in on a rainy day. In the summer they usually have pictures of all the candidates for the Miss America pageant posted, so you can spend quite a lot of time, just looking at those! more

Shriver's Salt Water Taffy and Fudge smells so wonderful!! As soon as you walk in the store you will smell the fresh fudge. They make their fudge right there in the store so you know it's very fresh. You can buy just a small sliver of a piece, or buy it by the pound and take it home to share with someone. They also sell candies and taffy. You can buy taffy by the piece or by the box. Lots of yummy treats to choose from including chocolate covered strawberries! more

Scriver’s salt water taffy has been my families favorite for years. The business has been around for over 100 years. The store used to only be open in the summer but it has become so busy they stay open almost all year round. They have the best and most unique flavor taffy around and I like their candies. They have every candy you could dream of. They have fresh macaroons, mint rolls and fat free fudge. The workers are very friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Each night in the summer around 8pm they give out large salt water shaped balloons to the children. Very kid friendly. Thursday nights is family night in Ocean City and they have people dressed up in cartoon charters. My sister and cousin used to work at the store when they were younger and they loved the experience. more
