This is a great place to go at Christmas... 3/20/2006

The Shrine of our Lady of the Snows puts on a beautiful Christmas display of lights each year from around Thanksgiving until after the first of the year. There is also a restaurant and gift shop to stop at. At certain times during the display there is a live nativity. The display is something that you drive through and view from your nice warm car on a cold wintry night. There is usually a line of cars waiting to get in especially on a weekend night close to Christmas. more

Famous for its Christmas display 9/18/2005

There is a lot here to see and to do, but this is most famous for its amazing Christmas light display during the holidays. While it is a little bit of a drive for anyone living in the St. Louis area, it really is worth it once you see these lights. During the other times of the year, it's a sight to see as the grounds are just beautiful. They do have some other events as well here and there during the year. more
