Great for Kids 7/2/2008

This was a great experience for my son. He is 4 and loved the dancing and entertainment. A certain discipline is taught and I think needed. But, its not hindering the spirit of the child but helping them learn. Some may not think this is for a boy but it was great for development and self-confidence. It allows for great interaction among the kids and great exposure to the arts in a fun way. I thought the instruction was great and very professional. I saw a dramatic difference between my son's performance and that of a niece who attends a much smaller, less disciplined program. Check it out. more

learn to dance 5/17/2008

Love this dance studio! The young girls learn the right way to dance with grace and poise. None of this all over the stage spinning and twirling. Only downfall is studio is a little old fashioned in some areas. Pros: excellent instruction Cons: a little old fashioned in some areas more

Owner Message

  • Showstoppers has served the Stillwater community for over 25 years. We offer ballet, pointe, lyrical ballet, tap, jazz/hip hop and ladies classes. We have beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Placement is determined by the age and experience of each student. We currently have nine instructors and student teachers to serve you. If you are searching for a dance studio in the area, Showstoppers offers two sessions per year. The regular session runs September-May in coordination with the public school term. We also offer a 6-week summer session starting mid June. The summer classes give students an opportunity to experience something new for a shorter period of time or use the summer classes to "catch up" in a particular subject.

Additional information
  • Hours: Our office hours are Monday & Wednesday 3:00pm-8:45pm ; Tuesday 3:00pm-8:00pm ; and Thursday 3:30pm-8:30pm (September 2007-May 2008). We will be happy to answer questions and help you find the right class for your dancer.
