I purchased a ""disco"" shirt from ShowTime Costumes for my birthday party that night. While getting ready for my party, my friend pointed out that there was a burn hole in the front of the shirt, leaving me with nothing to wear for my own party. Being that I bought the shirt on a Saturday near closing time, I called them Wed (the next day the store was open), the employee told me to bring the shirt in. After bringing the shirt in I was told I'd receive a full refund due to the burn not being fresh (no one in my house smokes btw), but I had forgot my credit card for the refund. I was told to come back at my convenience, which took some time due to the limited hours the store is open & my hours at a new job. When I returned with the shirt & card expecting the full refund, which was stated to me several times by the employee, I was told I'd be receiving a store credit instead. I stated thats not what she had previously told me, she told me to take it up w/ the owner via email. (Which I have done twice now with no response whatsoever!!). The employee started arguing with me, personally attacking me by insulting me, being rude & even slamming the door in my face. THIS IS THE WORST CASE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!! If the employee had not been rude I may have taken the credit, now its not about the money, its about the principle of the matter!!
