Show Me Steaks

I have been doing business with the company for several years. I think the meat is alot better than you get at the local grocery stores. I have bought several cases from them over the years and have never had a bad steak. Maybe some people just dont know how too cook. I was leary at first, but i gave the guy a shot because he was out trying to make a living and am glad I did. They have my business for life. more

We tried thepork and steak packages the first month and were delighted with the meat that we have eaten. The pork steaks were pretty tough so when the young man come back to our door and offered us another deal, we told him we would like to try the chicken this time. So he gave us a BOGO free deal and took our card information, except he did not have the chicken with him and promised to return on Tuesday 12/22/11 with our chicken. He has never returned and the 866-stl-meat number no one answers and in researching and finding the 636-527-6580 number no one answers it either, there is no contact information whatsoever on their website either!! So I was just robbed by these people. SO whatever you do do not give them any information, do not buy their meat, whatever you do steer clear. The good news is, he wrote this on our receipt that he was bringing the meat back to us, so the cops say that we do have a leg to stand on if we want to press charges! I also seen the young gentleman driving his truck down the road the other day and tried to turn around and catch him, but I was not fast enough! SO once again do not do this and if you do, make sure and get all your product first! Do not give them your card information!!!! more

I will not make another purchase of this meat! we got the beef and pork, and so far most of the meat is tuff no matter how it's cooked, it has very little flavor, and the hamburgers cook out alot more grease than a package of bacon....This is not a quality purchase, and if the cow truck comes back to my house they will get a bad review first hand, more

I love when the cow truck comes by our house! The steaks are a lot better then what we used to get at Walmart and they are cheaper. Repeat business here! more

This is THE WORST purchase I have ever made. I was drawn in by their Buy One Get One offer. The steaks have NO flavor - the burgers are pale when you open them, no flavor, not tender, etc. I cannot say enough bad about this. I certainly do NOT look forward to cooking any of this - whatever they call it. I should have been more wary when they drove up. Their sales pitch is good - you think you are really getting a bargain. They got a bargain - my $360. I will never be a fool with them again. I should have followed my instinct to NOT purchase from a door-to-door salesman. The packaging looked professional and the boxes were labeled as choice meat, BUT...I realized after the fact that the vacuum packed meat packages inside of those boxes were NOT labeled at all. Another quality of meat was likely used instead. WAY too much money to pay for this quantity & quality of meat. Don't give in to this sales pitch. i purchased these steaks in late 2008 and i can say that i was hesitant buying steaks from a guy at my door. he offered me a good deal and the food looked good so i gave it a shot! after eating some of the food over the next couple of months i was very pleased. out of about 50 steaks there were a few that were a little tough, but i called the office and got them replaced within a week. overall i liked the food and plan on purchasing again. Sorry, but after half a year I'm still choking down the meat rather than looking forward to a great steak. I love grilling, and thought I was getting a fair deal on good meat. Unfortunately, the steaks have been tough and lacking flavor, even the seasoned meats. Even the ground beef has little flavor and is way too fatty for my taste.
