I visited Shorty Small's Sunday, 4-10-11 and wanted to order pulled pork ($13.99) which included french fries. I don't eat FF for health reasons, so I asked to substitutute fries for a baked potato. So the waitperson said sure, but it will cost you $2.69 more or $16.68 total before tax. Then the waitperson said I could just order a baked potato as a separate side and leave the fries on the plate for $2.00. How rediculous is this. My wife and I eat out often in Conway, and Shorty Small's is the only place I know that will not substitute a potato item for a potato item. That includes Mikes, Colten's, Market Place, Logan's, Ruby Tuesday's, Chili's, TGI Friday's, Stoby's, Whole Hog, Oak Street Bistro, Los Amigo's and Outback. I am sure you are happy with your rule and I am happy not to return to your restaurant nor will I have to take time to write again. Now we are both happy. This was not my first time at your restaurant since I only live about a mile from Shorty's. Conway does have a choice of accommodating restaurants to eat at.
