Ribs were so tender they fell off the bones. Catfish was so flavorful. Drinks were quite pricey, but tasted good. The staff was great, but there is an official photographer who comes around to take your picture so you can buy it later. If you just smile and say "No, thank you" he will wish you a good day and move on. There is also a timeshare hawker in the lobby who will try to bribe you to come visit their property. He isn't quite as good at the "No, thank you" but it's okay... you've just eaten a great meal! more

I was pleased with everything. It's not a rushed atmosphere, it's pleasant, service is good and food is good and not overpriced. more

Family outing wasn't bad at all 11/5/2010

It was pretty busy but we were seated as soon as we walked in. We requested a bigger table and it was granted. Server was there immediately. Food delivered quick. My wife loved the chicken, daughter loved the turkey & bacon club, son loved the catfish & shrimp and I had steak & ribs. The steak was a tad overcooked but good and the ribs were delicious! Great service. A little loud but not too bad. more

Excellent choices in dessert 10/28/2010

We ate dinner, Our waiter was excellent. He took good care of us. The food came out quickly and was OK.The brownie/chocolate chip cookie dessert was excellent. more

We ate at both places in one day. If you eat at one they give you a coupon for the other. It is very reasonable. more

Great family restarurant 10/19/2010

My wife and two kids have visited this restaurant several times now, and have been pleased with the meal, service, and facilities each time. This is a good restaurant for casual dining with a wide enough menu selection to satisfy most American palates. The service on this particular occasion was excellent. We've eaten at more expensive places in town, and not enjoyed ourselves nearly as much for that very reason. Incidentally, as I write this review, they currently accept Restaurant.com certificates, which is a nice bonus for the value minded. more

Yummy food 10/18/2010

The roasted chicken was very good, I think the best meat of all our entrees. We were a party of 8 - everything was fine, no issues, no problems. The chicken livers were ok. The pulled pork was good. The ribs were ok. more

It was great!!!! 10/5/2010

My family and I went to Shorty's last night for the first time. It was great. The service was was very fast and friendly. We ordered the big appetizer combo and it was huge, enough you could use it as your own meal. I ordered the steak filet and the steak was beyond perfect. Nice and juicy. My husband ordered the pulled pork and he loved it as well. Leave room for dessert the Milky Way was Out of this World. more
