I was initially apprehensive about filing for a Short Sale, but, after two rejections from the Lender in my attempts to modify our existing mortgage loan, we decided that we try the short sale route. I contacted Mr. Kurt Wannebo of the California Real Estate and Investments Company in San Diego, California and explained to him the dilemma and frustration I was experiencing with the Lender and discussed what options I would have regarding a short sale. Following the discussion we had on the phone, he and an assistant came to visit me at the house and in length discussed the short sale procedure. He was very knowledgeable in the short sale subject and was very transparent in answering the questions I had. I felt very assured from our discussion and dismissed any apprehension I further had regarding the effect it may have on my credit and the approval of the short sale. Two staff assistants to Mr. Wannebo, Mr. Mike Hinmon and Ms. Becky Bensussen, were assigned to help me through the sale process. They were very professional and helpful not only finding potential buyers interested in the property but also finalizing the sale of the house within 2 months that the property was placed on the market. I did not expect that the sale of my house would have been this smooth and so quickly.
