My father passed away here last summer. He was relatively young and supposedly in ""rehab"" there from cancer treatment.
The doctor and social worker seemed competent and kind, but the nurses and aides (the only ones who really have meaningful contact with the patients and ""inmates"") were consistently inattentive and cruel.
I witnessed them yelling at elderly patients, letting patients roam the facility covered in their own feces, and generally robbing them of any dignity they have left. In my father's case, dignity was about the only thing he could muster toward the end and their maltreatment seriously damaged that.
My family will never forgive the staff of this horrible place for their treatment of my father.
I shudder to think how much worse the conditions could have been for him had we not been there with him every single day.
Cons: Nursing staff and aides are lazy, inattentive and cruel
