Gorgeous setting, great shops 11/9/2005

Just when you think Maui is only sand, surf, sunsets and cocktails (not that there's anything wrong with that), I found the Shops at Wailea. A gorgeous open air mall, with high end stores (think 5th Ave in NY and Rodeo drive in LA), with some great restaurants and the best view ever. A great place for souvenirs, and to give your skin a break from the sun. more

Upscale Shopping Center in the Wailea area of Kihei 8/7/2005

Located in the Wailea Resort area of Kihei, the Shops at Wailea is an upscale shopping center containing a reasonable number of retail stores and restaurants. Whether you want a steak dinner from Ruth's Chris or ice cream from Lappert's, you will find good food here. You can always find something for Dad at Tommy Bahama's, for Mom at one of the many specialty clothing stores, and you will find a good selection of moderate to pricey clothing for kids, too. more
