The store was not dirty, unstocked or anything like that; its staff was OK. Totally unacceptable is requiring a quarter to use the shopping carts which according to mgmt was because carts weren't being returned. If you're a senior citizen as I am and I don't happen to have a quarter, you can get a quarter from customer service (after waiting on line) and then go back out to get the cart. Way too much trouble for a creaky old lady. How does charging a quarter prevent loss of carts anyway? Did mgmt calculate how many customers were lost due to this asinine policy as opposed to the wagons lost? New Pathmark Customer
