Shooters Bar & Grill

Had supper here this evening. We had fish tail and ff with gravy. The fish was huge. Everything was very good. The waiter/bartender was very friendly. Food came promptly and was hot. I enjoyed everything very much and will go there again. more

Shooters is a rather run-of-the-mill tavern that appears to cater to the crowd leaving the Allegany Co. Fairgrounds (think 1/2 mile, dirt track racing fans.) This is not the kind of place to go to get a salad, something imaginative, or even a ""healthy"" meal. The decor of Shooters is marginal, but the service is friendly and the cheeseburgers are pretty good. Fried foods abound, though they tend to be greasy (somebody, please turn up the heat in the fryer!) Bottled beer is reasonably priced, though the selection is rather mundane. Evening entertainment is occasionally available and a large screen TV is on at other times. A separate dining room is available for private parties.
