I can't remember how a friend and I found this place, because it was back off the beaten path from where we usually are in this area.
The hostess and the sushi chef always recognized us when we came in, and always remembered how my friend drank her tea and how I liked my Coke with a lemon in it. They pay attention to detail and remember their return customers fondly.
This was the best seaweed salad I've ever had, and they also do a cucumber and seaweed salad dressed with rice vinegar and I think a bit of ginger that is sublime. There's plenty of parking, but not a lot of room at the sushi bar. We've eaten hibachi there one time and it was very good as well. I only had a taste; I'd ordered my regular sushi. Order the Shogun Maki roll and you will not be sorry.
