We recently ate at the Shogun And everything was GREAT. We travel over 80,000 miles each year and we always look forward to eating at the Shogun in Columbus. We have eaten in like places in Boston, Miami, Seattle and San Diego and many places in between. The Shogun in Columbus is one place we always look forward to eating at. The food was of the highest quality, elegantly prepared and served. I personally checked their health records. It was 100 (the highest). The other Japanese steakhouses in the area just did not stand up to that standard. The Chefs were all oriental and experts in their preparation and serving of our meals. We are a multicultured group and each of us were delighted in the way we were catered to individually. Overall it was an outstanding evening more

This restaurant is my absolute favorite! The food is always fresh and the service is exceptional. I never have to wait long to be seated and everything is always clean. Whether I eat here or carry out, the food is always ready in a timely manner. This place is by far one of the best places to dine in Columbus! more

We have not been able to find another restaurant in town that has better quality food or service. The cooks are always entertaining and give a great performance. We never have to worry about the food or service because it is always outstanding. more

First recommendation! 5/21/2013

Whenever anyone asks me to recommend a restaurant in or near Columbus, Shogun is always the first recommendation I give! I absolutely LOVE the teriyaki chicken. The fried rice is hands down the best in town! Between the delicious food and extremely friendly staff, Shogun will always be my first recommendation to friends and family! more

Great food 5/10/2013

Whenever my family comes into town, they always ask to come to Shogun! They always talk about the delicious sushi and hibachi steak. Shogun has turned into a well known family tradition. Pleasantly surprised 5/6/2013

My husband and I decided to try something new and were pleasantly surprised. This is definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants in Columbus. The decor looks great. The food was delicious and our waiter was great. We will be stopping by more often! more

Best steak house 4/11/2013

The food is better and the price is not as high as the other Japanese restaurants in town. This is hands down the best Japanese steak house in Columbus. I have eaten at all of them, they all have about the same food, but this one gets the better rating. more
