I actually like them better than Benihana, they cook your food how you want it and I think their rice is tastier. more

Better than Benihana 11/18/2006

I was first introduced to Shogun Kobe many years ago for a business meeting. The lounge is really cool and features a karaoke stage and very comfy chairs and tiny tables to sit around. The building is U-shaped, with a rock garden in the middle. The restaurant part features teppan-yaki tables and very friendly chefs. Their food is excellent and the atmosphere can't be beat. One of my favorite non-sushi-bar Japanese restaurants in San Diego. more
