My son had an appt in NOV. 2011 where I was told he needed extensive work as soon as possible to prevent nerve damage. I called every month to check status. They called me in MARCH 2012 and said they could get him in MAY 2012... 6 months after the initial visit. I had a death in the family and had to cancel my appt 13 days prior due to the fact I would not be in the state. They informed me they would not treat my son anymore because I did not understand cancelation policies. I called another Pediatric Dentist closer to my home and got him an appointment in 2 days to do the same work I had waited almost 7 months from them.
Also, this dentist wanted the estimated $355 that the insurance was NOT going to pay paid in full in APRIL 2012... a full month prior to them doing any services. I had to give them my credit card and they wasted no time in charging it.
When you call this dentist you get different voicemail options and you wait a min. of 6 hours before getting a call back. I always had a receptionist who had no idea what the answers to my questions were and that the office manager would call me back. Not only did I never get a call back from her I usualy had to call them back and leave messages to get any answers.
I did really like the dentist Dr. Thomas for the 15 mins I had with him for my sons teeth cleaning BUT it is not worth have to deal with uneducated staff at the phones and horrible office policies/service.
