I hardly ever complain heavily about a restaurant, there usually are some good parts. However, the only good part of this restaurant is the killer outdoor seating area (although it looks far better than it is comfortable).
My family and I stopped in for dinner after a day at the river. Urban Spoon showed that it had a 90% like it rating. It also showed that it was only $$ and that the entrees averaged between $10-$15. What a load of hogwash. The entrees were more realistically $20-$28 and so not worth the price.
My drink (Cranberry, Vodka and Soda) tasted like a 10 year old made it with only a splash of cranberry, a splash of Vodka and filled with soda.
We had to ask the waiter for water twice and then I finally went up to the busboy and asked him for water.
I ordered the Shrimp Louie which I don't have much to complain about other than the plate they used was too small and my food would fall off the plate every time I stabbed it with my fork.
My husband started with clam chowder. We swear it was canned. We asked and they insisted that they made it fresh.
My son's chicken tenders had absolutely no flavor. He was eating texture only... no flavor! How is that possible? My husband's chicken fried steak had some flavor, very little, but at least it had some.
The fries were decent although a bit soggy in the middle.
Shirley needs to get on the ball with quality control and someone needs to be more honest with the reviews and average prices.
Extremely disappointing!!! Too bad, I really did like that back eating area.
