We ate at Shiraz on Father's Day. We were absolutely delighted with the food and the service. Everything was delicately flavored. Nothing too spicy, too sweet or too oily as can be the case with middle eastern restaurants. There were many happy discoveries, such as the cherry rice and the pomegranate juice [which we mixed with the yogurt drink to concoct our own desired beverage]. Disappointment came at dessert time, when most of the desserts on the menu were not available, nor was persian COFFEE [?]. The baklava was extraordinarily good, as was the saffron ice cream, which took the edge off our disappointment. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait to rush home for some good strong coffee... a deficit which will hopefully be corrected before we go there again. This restaurant is a keeper - TRY IT.
Pros: wonderful food and cozy atmosphere
Cons: persian/turkish/espresso coffee wasn't available [?]
