Outstanding Acupuncturist! 3/11/2011

Shin is amazing - you can't go wrong with him. I was looking for an acupuncturist near my home & came across Shinichi Moriyama just a half a mile away. He had good reviews so I decided to give him a try - and am I ever glad I did! I've been seeing Shin for about a year and a half now and can think of many words to describe him: gentle, knowledgeable, skillful, intuitive, thoughtful, present, non-judgmental, patient and kind. I never leave his office without feeling more relaxed and grounded. I firmly believe that Shin the best practitioner anyone could hope for & feel lucky to have him right here in my neighborhood - especially because, at this point, I'd drive across town to see him! more

Relief and release! 3/10/2011

I highly recommend Shinichi for acupuncture. He is a very attentive listener and is both highly knowledgeable and intuitive - a rare combination. I was a competitive swimmer for 10+ years and have had chronic musculoskeletal issues for a long time now. After 1 1/2 months of regular visits with Shinichi, I have actually noticed quite a bit of release and huge improvement in areas that I had just about given up on and that no one else - doctors, chiropractors, other acupuncturists, etc. - had been able to help with. Shinichi is the real deal and I'm feeling optimistic that healing on physical, emotional and spiritual levels is in fact possible. more

Great Acupuncturist! 3/10/2011

Shinichi has some of the best bedside manners I have ever seen. He listens to you and provides a very comfortable relaxing environment. I have been seeing him for a few months for fibromyalgia pain and what a difference it has made. He is reasonably priced which is great because my insurance doesn't cover acupuncture. He is looking for a solution to your problem, not a way to keep you coming back for unnecessary appointments. I also don't like needles and he is very sensitive to my quirks. At this point I've overcome my fear of needles when Shinichi is the one doing it. He also cured a headache of mine in one session. I would recommend him to everyone. more

Just what I needed! 2/26/2011

Wow, what a great first acupuncture experience... Although I'm hip to alternative medicine, I'd never had it done before and was even slightly skeptical. Shin has a superb manner and the office was *very* comfortable, warm and relaxing environment, easy to get to as well via the Hollywood MAX stop. Although I'm in good health and spirits, I'd been experiencing an ongoing level of anxiety and after having this work done, I was truly surprised at the change I felt... Like a deep breath and exhale is the best I can describe it, like having a blockage removed, just a little more myself. Thank you Mr Moriyama! more
