My boyfriend and I were lucky to come across a few reviews on the net about the restaurant and so we wanted to give it a try. We were a little hesitant to walk into the restaurant when we first arrived. The place was very small and was not esthetically maintained on the outside, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. At the entrance, we were blown away by the warm and friendly faces from the wait staff that greeted us. I appreciated the well-balanced flavor and authenticity of their Korean hot tea. I ordered the grilled chicken dish and my boyfriend had the vegetarian stone pot entrée. Both dishes including the extra offerings that came with it were very delightful and well-done.
I must end this note with saying that I have traveled extensively, dined at numerous restaurant, and Shin Jung definitely is a place worth going to. It's menu is pretty inexpensive and so you cannot go wrong dining here. I really do not know if it is just me, but in my personal opinion…it seems as though Florida lacks great ethnic restaurants. Of course, places like New York City and California are saturated with great places to dine, and so when I find a restaurant that defines true flavor and tradition, I am always grateful for the discovery.
