I have been eating at the Shiki for many, many years. My husband and I used to go on dates to the Shiki and now we take out large family out to eat at the Shiki. There is no other restaurant like the Shiki! The food is unbelievable and nothing matches it. The service is wonderful, the waitresses and chefs are all amazing and very kind. While the menu is a bit expensive, it is the average for a hibachi type restaurant. The bill is well worth it as you are fed and entertained! more

My favorite! 4/17/2006

My family has been eating at the Shiki since before I was born. The employees have all been there for years and are extremely sweet. The hibachi is delicious! It is not too expensive, though certainly more than a night at Applebees. The chefs cook right on your table, and they even do tricks! They serve sushi and sashimi, also, which is delicious. Finally, to save some money,visit between 12-4pm for the lunch time specials. more

Shiki - Middletown's Little Gem 9/11/2005

This place is always crowded and full of lighthearted people. Their sushi is incredible, and they also offer hibachi dinners at reasonable prices. They have a bar, too, with sushi brought to the tables. A word of advice - ask for reservations, because there is NO WAY you can get in for dinner without waiting about 30 minutes or longer or having reservations. more
