We took our son to the Emergency Room here, and waited an unreasonable amount of time to be seen! People were walking out, and going elsewhere because the staff was so behind! That was the last time we will use that hospital! You would think in an emergency room, they would have a little bit of urgency with the patients! more

Good, efficient care 8/14/2005

Sherman Hospital is Elgin's east side hospital. There are doctors office attached which is convenient. Support staff and lab employees are very helpful. The birth center is updated. Both of my kids were born there. All equipment is state of the art. Only problem we have had is long wait time in the ER (which is typical of any ER). more
