It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!

Worst

Spa is dark and old. The hallways are so tiny and cramped in the spa that if there are more than two people it's a traffic jam. EVERYTHING in the resort is over priced. But fo...

Classic American Menu and Sunday Brunch 4/16/2006

This is a wonderful splurge since the main menu items are all above $25.00. You can't find a better Sunday brunch in the valley than the one in the Terrace dining room at The Phoenician. Their menu always featuring a changing classic American menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Be sure to call for hours of operation and reservations. more

Impecable grounds and great service! 11/11/2005

If you are looking for complete opulence, the Phoenician is the place to stay or just visit for a meal. They have gorgeous grounds that are wonderful for a stroll and the staff was as helpful as you would expect for the price. It sure isn't cheap, but if you are looking for extreme comfort and pampering, check out the Phoenician. more

Very nice resort 10/10/2005

The rooms are great, spacious, all the amenities you'd expect from a top-notch resort. The restaurants are great as well, expecially Mary-Elaines. Don't have a wedding here, though. We looked into it, and it is just ridiculously overpriced! They don't give you very much attention, and pretty much just shove you off to the side, even though you're paying a LOT of money. For the same money, you can go to a number of the other equally as wonderful resorts in town, and get a much better wedding. The wedding food would be not very good, and you'd be in an area where many strangers (other guests) can witness your wedding. And no good views! What a rip-off. But if you're just wanting a nice place to stay while in Phoenix, the Phoenician is very nice, and worth a stay. It's also close to downtown Scottsdale, which is where all the restaurants, shopping, and bars are. more

The nicest hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life! 8/20/2005

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to spend one night at the Phoenician hotel. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. The room had two beds, a Sony flat screen TV, a marble bath tub and shower, and overlooked a beautiful area. Everything was amazing, even down to the details of full sized spa-type shampoo, conditioner, and bath salts in the bathroom! The pool areas were gorgeous! I liked that they had big blue towels and water pitchers/cups at the pool. Everything was top notch! I still brag to people about how great my stay there was! more

Editorial
  • In Short
Tucked away on the fifth floor of the Phoenician resort is a quiet, candlelit dining room swathed in gold, cream and rich green hues. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a nighttime view of glittering lights that spread over the Phoenix basin. Slow jazz melodies from the adjacent cocktail lounge filter in, mingling with hushed conversations and the occasional clink of champagne glasses. The three-course, prix fixe menu offers an opportunity to explore.
