My boyfriend and I chose the Sheraton Suites on the Hudson in Weehawken for a quick weekend getaway due to it's proximity to Hoboken. It is quick walk - less than 15 minutes - to Hoboken and everything it has to offer! We checked in on a Friday night and were given a very satisfactory room, although it did not include a Manhattan view (unless you put your head against the window and looked to the right). However, we were still very happy. When it came time to go to sleep we noticed that the room was chilly. We were unable to operate the heating unit so we called the front desk for assistance. Even thought it was 2 in the morning, with-in minutes someone came up to our room. When he, too, was unable to operate the heating system we were offered another room. I have to say I am SO glad the heat in our original room didn't work because the room we were relocated to was AMAZING. In fact, I think it was the room pictured on this page! The living area was much larger and our bedroom came complete with a PANORAMIC view of Manhattan!! Needless to say, we were extremely happy with the upgrade and the awesome service we received from the staff. As for location, the Weehawken Sheraton Suites cannot be beat. Thanks to the unseasonably warm March weather we spent a lot of time outside admiring the Manhattan skyline view. The on-premise restaurant and bar is a nice place to relax and have a drink. The food is a little pricey, but we did get food to bring up to our room one night and we were both satisfied. The near-by Houlihan's is also a good place to eat/drink if you aren't looking to spend a lot. I would absolutely stay at the Weehawken Sheraton Suites again in a heartbeat. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others.
Pros: location, staff, view
Cons: none
