Sher-E-Punjab is a small, charming restaurant with a mulligatawny soup made with chickpea that is out of this world. I also love indulging in the naan (bread) appetizers and a creamy yogurt-based drink with choices of rose water, mango, or strawberry. Favorite main dish there: chicken vindaloo. Unlike the other reviewer, I think the prices are quite fair.
Although I currently live in a small town in South Dakota, I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, ethnic and otherwise, in Minneapolis, Omaha, Chicago, and many cities not in the Midwest. This is a fine small restaurant that deserves at least one visit; it is a restaurant which my husband I have returned many times and is a favorite with people in the know about Indian food.
Pros: Fairly priced, Easy access
