Sher dent skate center is a great place to go i mean all the other entertainment in this area are double or triple the price of the rink. everything there is such a great price and on top of that the staff there are wonderfull people they care about there cusotomers and always put them 1st. i would recomend it for fun, parties,and private partys its a grat place t have fun. the lady below doesnt know whats shes talking about more

The sher-den skate center is my hometown skating rink. I would recomend it if your in the area and need somthing to do or need a place for a party. and as for the unhappy mom situation, i know the owner personally and he is not rude he is a very nice and sincere person. This lady was NOT waiting for 5 minuets she had been there for at least 10. I was there that day and i didn't recall her wearing skates or holding a baby. The party people got there late so they only got 30 minuets on the table so she can't complain. It was her own fault. The staff here are good workers and i suggest you not listen to the unhappy lady and come see for yourself. - Amber Pros: my mom works there/I skate here every week more

As an owner and operator of the Sher-Den Skate Center I would like to comment on this review. Most of this ladies story is very misleading. We never overbook birthday parties. These times are scheduled when the parties are booked-- no exceptions. This lady had her full time on the tables. She was slow in getting her party started and when told by my staff her time was up, and she would have to move from that area, she became very upset. The other party moved into the area and started serving their party at their scheduled time. One guest from the first party would not move from the tables. At my staffs request, that when I got involved. I asked her nicely to move several times with no results. So with a firm tone I told her she was going to move from the tables now! Thankfully she moved. As the owner I am truly sorry things did not workout for this lady. We can be very flexible on all aspects of your party except the times scheduled for your use or the serving area. We have private party times available for groups who want the rink for their group only. We have been in business since 1973 and would like to thank all our customers for their patronage. My experience there today for my son's birthday party was so hideous, I will NEVER go there again! I was told we'd have 45 minutes at the table for cake and presents, we were only allowed 30! On top of that, one of my guests was wearing skates and sitting at a picnic style table holding another guest's baby. The owner told her she had to get up right away so the next party could sit down. She said she was just waiting for the child's father to come in from outside. He was helping me load stuff in the car. The owner then proceeded to physically try to pull her up and threaten to call the cops if she didn't get up!!! What kind of a person does that? What if she had dropped the baby? She wasn't being argumentative, she simply could not get up right at that moment, she was only seated for about 5 minutes! I'm so mad at being treated so poorly! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! Cons: EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER!! The rest of the staff were pleasant! Too crowded! No where to sit! Overbooked for birthday parties! Hard to find trash cans! more
