This cleaner has gone downhill in the past couple of years. College students are workers and that's great but it is clear that the management does not care how they treat the clothes. In the past year, every other time we have picked our clothes up they need to be re-ironed. Now, they have lost our clothes. I know it happens but there's a way to handle things. When I called the cleaners the manager answered the phone and when I ask who was speaking he rudely answered "Who do you want to speak to?" The answer in itself should have told me that we were not the only customers calling with a problem. The manager didn't want to discuss our missing clothing. I will never shop here again. If you are considering the cleaners, RUN the other way. more

Sending your clothes to Shep's Cleaners is always a good bet. Shep's has been named "Best Cleaners" in Starkville for many years and it is just that kind of consistency that keeps them popular. I have a lot of dry cleaning and never have my clothes been not ready when it was time to pick them up. They also offer next day service if you get the clothes into them by 8:30 am. Shep's pricing is also very good being about $3.50 an item. Also the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I once brought a stained suede purse there and instead of trying to fix it and charge me when they knew they didn't have the tools to fix it, they referred me to another cleaner with the proper mechanism. Because of their selflessness, customers tend to continue to do business with them. more
