Fancy Shepherdess beads 8/12/2005

The Shepherdess is located directly next to Lost Cities, which surprised me at first. However, upon closer inspection, their inventories generally complement each other. The Shepherdess specializes in fancy glass beads, and at certain hours you can see the artisans at work in person. The prices are quite high for me, but it is worth a look if you are searching for a special piece. more

The store also offers superb classes by local artists and guest instructors on a variety of bead working techniques including wire wrapping, bead crocheting and soldering as well as how to create unique necklaces, bracelets, earrings, purses and other beaded items. more
