christy gayle is the best. I really have tried many other places but she can provide a really deep tissue massage but gently so you can relax. I really do love Sheltons...Misty is so wonderful and Michelle is one of the kindest people... more

Got hair cut and style, great experience 12/20/2011

I was ready to change due to poor service from the front desk, lots of issues, but thankfully that has changed a ton, and that part of the service is good now, as always Monte is excellent. Also, you finally put a handicapped rail in bathroom, I asked for it for months and months, I was WELL by the time you put it in, but I know it helps others so glad you did.. more

This was my first time to visit Shelton's Salon. The salon itself was nice, clean and inviting. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience there. I found the stylist to be rude and insulting at times. There was no direction after my hair was washed...the stylist had started working on someone else and I didn't know where to wait. So, I sat with a towel on my head in the reception area while my purse and jewelry were at the stylist's station. Less than one side of my hair was dried to make sure the color was ok. What about the color on the other side? It was in the 40's that day and I left with my hair wet. I had no idea, since this was my first visit, that I was supposed to request to be scheduled enough time to have my hair dried....I assumed it was included in my appointment. I paid over $120.00 for color only, to be insulted and leave with my hair wet. My color was ok but nothing I couldn't get somewhere else. I scheduled another appointment before I left hoping my stylist was just having an off day. I've thought about my experience every day since and debate every day whether or not to keep my appointment. more

Andrea was my stylist. She did a wonderful job. My hair is the color I wanted and the style and cut are perfect. The service while I was waiting was great. One of the managers brought me style books and she also brought me a bottle of water. I really like Shelton,s - just wished I could go more often. more
